Unexpected fun at Palisades
We got to Palisades today a bit late, unsure of what we would find.
At 11am, Gold Coast groomers were nice and firm. The snow was similarly quite "glazed" off-piste.

Granite bumps were skiing quite well. By 11:30am, they were just soft enough to be enjoyable.
Fun at Granite Chief today
High Voltage bumps
The snow in the trees was comfortable too, if slightly firmer.
Folks were making the hike today
Shirley as usual skied great.
Quite and dependable at Shirley
The top half of KT was quite decent as well, perhaps from the recent dusting. The snow at the top of Women's Downhill still felt relatively fresh.
Good conditions up top at KT

We finished the day off in the Red Dog Glades - quite hairy and full of features. Imagine ice cream fresh out of the freezer. There seems to have been some solid melt/freeze cycles.
Chunkier, frozen skiing at Red Dog
All-in-all, a better than expected day at Palisades. No complaints given the weather, we enjoyed some great skiing!
