Welcome to SnowSignals ("Service"), a web application that provides snow, weather, terrain, and resort-planning information, owned and operated by Paw Patrol LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Informational Use Only — No Advice

The Service provides informational and educational content only. This includes snow condition forecasts, terrain assessments, wait-time estimates, and recommended skiing plans or itineraries (for example, suggested morning or afternoon zones).

The Service does not provide professional, medical, instructional, safety, guiding, or risk-management advice. All outputs are estimates or opinions generated by software models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading.

2. Assumption of Risk

Skiing and snow sports are inherently dangerous activities involving risks including serious injury, permanent disability, death, and property damage.

By using the Service, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with skiing, snowboarding, and resort travel. Conditions may change rapidly due to weather, grooming, crowd levels, equipment, and human factors.

Any decision to follow a recommendation, plan, or suggestion from the Service is made entirely at your own risk.

3. No Reliance

You agree not to rely on the Service as a substitute for your own judgment, resort signage, closures, ski patrol instructions, or official resort communications.

Any use of terms such as "best," "recommended," or "optimal" does not imply safety, suitability, or a guarantee of outcome.

4. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for verifying conditions directly on the mountain and with the resort.
• You are responsible for choosing terrain appropriate for your skill level and physical condition.
• You agree that SnowSignals is not a safety system and is not designed to prevent accidents.

5. Accounts

• Some features may require account registration. You agree to provide accurate and current information.
• The Service is currently free but may introduce paid features in the future with updated Terms.

6. Data and Content

• User Content: You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use it in connection with the Service.
• Public Sharing: Public content may be viewed or shared by others, and we cannot guarantee deletion once shared.
• Analytics: We use analytics to improve the Service and do not sell personal data.

7. Intellectual Property

All models, algorithms, forecasts, maps, designs, and content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• No Warranty: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, death, or property damage arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed $50.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paw Patrol LLC and its affiliates from any claims arising out of your use of the Service or your skiing or resort activities.

10. Modifications and Availability

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or as otherwise permitted by law.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of California.
• Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive class actions.
